We asked 30 different people, aged 11+ what their favourite film genre was and here are our results.

Analysis Of Results
-Fantasy was the least popular genre which was lucky for us. This would be a very hard genre to create successfully due to lack of technology and using the resources we have available, we would need advanced technology to create CGI enhanced effects.
-Horror was the most popular genre with the audience. This was very useful for us because it was the genre we wanted to progress further initially. We already thought of a basic plot outline and thought we could produce this opening to its full potential, we have suitable locations to film in and suitable props and equipment to use.
-The action genre was also a popular genre with the audience. This would also be a genre that#s very hard to realistically create, we don't have access to fast cars and guns so this would be a wise option to chose.
-The chick flick genre wasn't very popular at all, im quite happy with this result because I wasn't interested in producing an opening in this genre. But I think this would be relativity easy to produce, getting female actors would be no problem and we could simply just film in school.
-Science fiction scored high results, this would be very hard to achieve due to the resources we have available.
-Comedy was one of our highest scorers. This would interesting to see what type of opening we could produce, I feel that it would be very hard to create a comedy opening that's effective.
